Servanthood, lived experience,
and a model that actually works.
Aubrey Chateau Co-Living Management was built by someone who has lived in a co-living home during a transitional season, worked alongside VA HUD-VASH coordinators and Public Housing Authorities in property management, and watched the local housing safety net fray in real time.
Housing is both a fundamental human right and a viable business — when approached with intention.
I am building a co-living management company that transforms how communities address housing insecurity while creating sustainable pathways to stability for families in transition. Aubrey Chateau exists to fill the critical gaps left by closing nonprofits and shuttered shelters — to be the place a caseworker can send someone, the partner a property owner can trust with an asset, and the home a resident can actually afford.
Where others see market constraints, I see market opportunity — families commuting hours for affordable housing, transitional programs shutting down, agency caseworkers without referral options. I'm building a triple-bottom-line enterprise that serves individuals (B2C), partners with property owners (B2B), and collaborates with government and workforce programs (B2G) to create a comprehensive housing solution that the local ecosystem is actively missing.
Sustainable impact requires sustainable revenue. I'm not just providing temporary shelter; I'm building a management model that helps people transition from housing insecurity to housing stability while generating the resources needed to scale that impact — and, eventually, license the playbook to other founders in other cities.
Why Aubrey Chateau is personal, professional, and proven.
Servanthood is the starting point.
I founded Aubrey Chateau out of a conviction that community is essential — that we are not meant to do life alone, and especially not the hardest seasons of it. That belief is the foundation everything else rests on. The mission isn't an add-on to the business model; it is the business model.
A US Military Veteran who has lived the model.
I am a US Military Veteran, and I have personally lived in a co-living home during a transitional phase of my own life. That experience is why every choice we make at Aubrey Chateau — the 30-day flexibility, the all-inclusive rates, the dignity-first house culture, the on-site house manager — reflects what actually matters when you're the person walking through the front door with everything you own.
A property management background, in the trenches.
Professionally, I've worked in the property management industry coordinating directly with property owners, social workers, VA HUD-VASH caseworkers, Public Housing Authorities, and local agencies — helping current tenants secure rental and utility assistance, navigate voucher paperwork, and stay housed. I know how PHAs run inspections. I know how HUD-VASH timelines actually work. I know what landlords need to hear to say yes. That's the operational credibility Aubrey Chateau brings to every partnership.
Five convictions that shape every decision.
These aren't marketing slogans. They're the operating principles a founder, a house manager, a property owner, and a caseworker can all hold each other to.
Residents are adults, not cases.
No pitying language, no savior framing, no infantilizing rules. People building independence deserve to be treated as the capable adults they are — in the copy on this site, in the lease, and in the conversation at the front door.
Mission and math both belong on the page.
Aubrey Chateau is not transactional rental arbitrage and it is not a charity. It is a self-sustaining business with a measurable impact. Pretending otherwise — in either direction — fails the people who count on us.
Partnerships are the strategy.
Churches, PHAs, the VA, Continuum of Care leads, workforce programs, civic orgs, peer support networks, caseworkers from the closed shelter — Aubrey Chateau strengthens this ecosystem, never competes with it. Collaboration amplifies what any single organization can do alone.
Speed is dignity.
A 48-hour referral response. A same-week applicant decision. A rent check that clears on time, every time. The fastest way to honor someone's situation is to respect their timeline.
What works here should work in other cities.
Every SOP, every template, every workflow we build at the pilot is an asset for a future where mission-driven founders in other cities can replicate the model. Property #1 proves the concept. Property #2 proves the system. Property #5 proves the franchise.
Housing is infrastructure, not a transaction.
Aubrey Chateau is a community infrastructure asset, built to outlast any single property, any single resident, any single funding cycle. That mindset shapes how we document, how we hire, and how we choose what to say yes to.
"I am committed to building alongside our community partners, recognizing that collaboration amplifies impact far beyond what any single organization could achieve. My vision is to establish Aubrey Chateau as a complementary force that strengthens the entire housing ecosystem — working hand-in-hand with existing organizations, local businesses, and government agencies to create a comprehensive safety net that supports families on their journey from housing insecurity to sustainable independence."

A fraying safety net — and a founder ready to help rebuild it.
U.S. homelessness rose nearly 30% between 2022 and 2024. Locally, a key nonprofit housing-assistance program closed, area shelters have shuttered, and families are commuting hours just to reach affordable housing. The need is not abstract.
One signed property owner. Four to six rooms. A founder with a Rolodex.
Aubrey Chateau isn't an idea on a slide. The pilot property is secured through a signed partnership with our first property owner. Rooms are opening within 30 days. The founder is actively in conversation with caseworkers displaced by the recent shelter and nonprofit closures, with HUD-VASH coordinators at the local VA, and with PHA staff who know our name.
By month 6 we expect to be at full pilot occupancy, with our first signed MOU with a referring agency and a live impact dashboard tracking beds filled, dollars saved per resident, and exits to permanent housing — the same metrics that fund grant applications and unlock our second property.
If this resonates, let's build alongside each other.
Whether you're a resident looking for a room, a property owner curious about a master-lease partner, a caseworker carrying too many files, or a community partner ready to collaborate — we'd like to meet you.
